Computer Aided Education's privacy policy and the procedures to manage clients’ information have been created with the understanding that Internet technologies are still evolving and that Internet business methods continue to evolve in order to satisfy the needs and opportunities of developing technologies. As a result, Computer Aided Education's policies and procedures are subject to change. In the rendering of services to its clients, Computer Aided Education acquires, stores and transmits communications and client reports, these are considered to be private and sensitive. Parts of this information - such as name, address, telephone number and credit card data – is required from Computer Aided Education’s clients, in order to establish service. Other information - such as the conditions of the client's account, the choice of services and the client's records - is created and maintained by Computer Aided Education during the normal course of the provision of services. Computer Aided Education also uses cookies, which are small portions of information that a Web Site can store in a designated file in a user’s computer for several purposes. For example, Computer Aided Education uses the cookies in the platform pages of the products that are sold on line to register customer information which is required in the order form. At a later time, this information is transferred to an internal, sales follow-up data base within Computer Aided Education. Additionally, Computer Aided Education may save clients’ e-mails and other communications, as a necessary procedure for the transmission and remittance of said communications. DATA SECURITY An underlying principle of the protection of personal data is that the every person has the right to access information stored about them. In accordance with the postulates of article 5 of the Constitutional Law of Data Protection (LOPD), in order to procure a person's data it is necessary that express and unequivocal information be given about the purpose and location of the information collected. The user is informed that personal data gathered in the Web’s forms will form a part of an automated file under Computer Aided Education's responsibility, and will be treated by Computer Aided Education according to the current legislation on the subject of data protection, for the purpose of maintaining the services rendered and/or realization of the products/services offered by Computer Aided Education. Personal details may be communicated to third parties without the consent of the parties concerned, whenever this communication responds to a need for the development, fulfilment and control of the provision of services and/or the realization of the product, and is limited to this purpose, as is established in article 11.1 of Constitutional Law 15/1999, December 13 on the protection of Personal Data. In order to exercise access rights, impugnation, rectification, cancellation or opposition to the data, the necessary forms should be completed. The user should complete all of the fields in the Web’s forms with truthful, complete and updated information, with the exception of data that is indicated to be of an optional nature. To the contrary, Computer Aided Education may reject the application for registration. The purpose of this treatment is the transmission of information that Computer Aided Education considers of interest to the user, concerning products and services of companies in its group. The user may exercise their right to access, rectify, cancel and oppose personal data, at all times, by notification to Computer Aided Education, San Francisco de Borja 18, Gandia (Valencia) Spain, CP 46701 with CIF A-46.154.225, in conformity with Constitutional Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the protection of Personal Data, without prejudice to the right to indemnification that the Law recognizes in the case of non-fulfilment. The constitutional Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the protection of personal data (LOPD) establishes than the applicant that intends to exercise their rights must send a request to the incumbent of the file stating: - Full name. - Photocopy of identity card (DNI) or any other media admitted by law that permits accreditation of identity. - Request in writing. - Provision of an address for the purpose of notification. - Date and signature of the applicant. - Accrediting documents for the request formulated, if so required.
hOW IS CUSTOMER INFORMATION USED? Computer Aided Education may share customer information with selected associates, for example, to provide information to clients about products that could be of interest or facilitate the use of special associates’ software. Computer Aided Education may also use customer data to provide information about the system, or information about new or improved products. Additionally, Computer Aided Education may share usage information about its Web page concerning the visitors to Computer Aided Education's websites with third-party publicity agencies, with the aim of directing Computer Aided Education's advertising in Internet, in Computer Aided Education's sites and others. To this end, Computer Aided Education and those with whom the information is shared rates some of the pages visited in Computer Aided Education’s Web Site by use of pixel tags (also called clear gifs). The information collected through the use of these pixel tags is not individually identifiable. EXIT OPTION AND MODIFICATIONS Clients may opt to stop receiving Computer Aided Education and its associates’ advertising of new or improved products, by sending a written request to cliente@cae.net. En this request clients should identify the service provided by Computer Aided Education, the Domain Name (if applicable), contact information and the date the service was acquired. However, clients may not choose to stop receiving information from Computer Aided Education that is essential for the maintenance or updating of clients’ accounts or system information. The possibility to opt out of the management program is also offered in Privacy Option Out. The majority of clients will be able to access their personal information and modify it through their personal on-line control panel/account information page. DIVULGATION OF COMMUNICATIONS AND CUSTOMER INFORMATION Computer Aided Education will not divulge its clients' personal and account information in any way, unless a motive to believe that the divulgation of said information be necessary to identify, contact or exercise legal action against whosoever may cause damage or interfere with the copyrights of Computer Aided Education, Computer Aided Education's clients or others, or when Computer Aided Education believes in good faith that the law requires said divulgation. Neither will Computer Aided Education reveal to third parties, save for the established reasons below, the contents of any e-mail or other electronic communication that Computer Aided Education holds or transmits to its clients. The circumstances under which Computer Aided Education may divulge clients’ electronic communications are: 1. With an end to providing services to clients. 2. To protect the legitimate interests of Computer Aided Education' and its clients. 3. If cooperation is required with interception orders, registration orders or other due processes of law that Computer Aided Education determines, at its sole discretion, to be valid or applicable. 4. When it is necessary to provide them to an authorized, law enforcement organism, when Computer Aided Education inadvertently obtains contents that appear to pertain to the perpetration of a crime. Computer Aided Education renounces any intention to censor, edit or become involved in a revision or constant vigilance of communications stored in or transmitted through its facilities for clients or others. Nevertheless, Computer Aided Education will revise, suppress or block access to communications that may damage Computer Aided Education, its clients or third parties. The circumstances in which Computer Aided Education will exercise said actions include, but are not limited to, real or potential violations of Computer Aided Education's Acceptable Use Policy.
