APPLIED INSIGHTS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION

EdTech Research

EdTech Research is CAE’s space dedicated to research in educational technology, aimed at supporting institutional decision-making in higher education.

This section includes evidence-based analyses, studies, and reflections on the impact of technology—including artificial intelligence—on university teaching, assessment, language competence, employability, and academic quality.

An applied approach, aimed to institutional contexts

Unlike other approaches focused on specific innovations or tools, EdTech Research is geared towards strategic issues that affect the entire institution:

  • teaching and learning models,
  • academic and digitization policies,
  • quality assessment and assurance,
  • internationalization and development of key skills.

The content draws on academic research, European benchmarking, and real-world experiences from universities. Our goal is to provide rigorous, contextualize information creating an invaluable knowledge base for governing teams, vice-rectorates, and academic leaders.

EdTech Research is conceived as an inter-university space for shared knowledge, where educational technology is analyzed not as an end in itself, but as a structural factor in the transformation of higher education.
